Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 in 1970) is an American former tight end in the NFL. Gonzalez played for the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. One of America's top tight ends of all time and is the holder of an NFL record for most receiving yards for all tight ends. He is third all-time in the number of receptions.

Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as a FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez is a regular on FOX NFL KICKOFF from the start of the start of the NFL's season in 2017. The show, which lasts for an hour, precedes FOX NFL Sunday, which airs each Sunday, at 11 AM ET, in the NFL Season.
On the 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a 2-year, $14 million contract despite claiming that Gonzalez would retire after the 2013 season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leading receiver of active receiving yards for his final season.
